ABOUT THE EVENT
On November 13, 2025, the city of Morganton, NC will host the Planet Frame International Youth Film Anthology, a celebration of young filmmakers addressing today’s most pressing cultural, social, and ecological challenges.
This year, the festival received 147 submissions from 29 countries, including works from Colorado, Virginia, California, and — proudly — one submission from Morganton itself. After careful deliberation, 30 films have been selected as finalists.
The evening program will feature a formal awards ceremony (with both in-person participation of jury members and online remarks from international jury members and participants in Bulgaria), a curated screening of finalist films, and a community reception with a dedicated photo wall for press and guests.
